Google Maps Plug-In Help

The Google Maps plug-in allows you to generate a browser-based Google map for any address contained in your application. To initiate the plug-in, click the “Show Google Map...” alert in the Ratchet-X Alert Window. When you do, the address will be extracted from the application screen and a Google map will be rendered in your Internet Explorer browser.

Note to Plug-In Creators:

The Google Maps plug-in is browser type of plug-in. This means that the plug-in’s experience is not governed by the plug-in creator, but rather the developer who developed the actual web site your plug-in is calling. The only control you have is the ability to pass URL parameters to a browser window thus dictating the data upon which the application will act.
