In addition to its management team, RatchetSoft retains an Advisory Board consisting of experienced business and technology professionals who bring a wealth of cross-functional expertise across a wide spectrum of respected companies. The purpose of this board is as follow:
- To contribute objective guidance, vision and strategic direction to the Company.
- To provide insight and improvements for product and technology development.
- To suggest operational and organizational best practices for making Ratchet-X even better.
Most important, these Advisors serve as a sounding board that gives us a “Voice of the Client” perspective to ensure that we develop the software, solutions and services that will best satisfy our customers – and differentiate them from their competition.

Aron Miodownik
CEO, Cambrian Associates
Areas of Focus: Technology strategy and assessment, business development, financial services
Aron Miodownik leads a boutique advisory and consulting business called Cambrian Associates that serves CEOs, COOs, CIOs, VC and Private Equity firms operating in the intersection between the finance and technology sectors. Cambrian focuses on capital raising, business development, operational restructuring, due diligence and technology strategy for its clients.
Prior to launching Cambrian Associates, Aron was the COO of Merrill Lynch's Research Department from 2002-2005 where he implemented the NextGen technology platform (based on Microsoft technologies), launched the iQanalytics suite of products, and helped restructure the department and manage the regulatory risk programs.
Prior to his COO role, Aron held a number of senior roles at Merrill including: the Global Head of Technology Strategy & Business Development, the Head of Business Continuity, The Head of the Alternative Development Centers, the Head of BPO initiatives, the head of Quarterly Business Reviews and the CIO for Global Research.
Before joining Merrill Lynch, Aron was an Executive Director in UBS' Equities Division where he held a number of senior e-commerce, business development, operations risk and merger integrations roles.
Prior to his time at UBS, Aron spent 8 years with Accenture (formally Andersen Consulting) performing strategic business reviews, M&A planning, technology strategy and operational restructurings for clients in UK, South Africa, Russia, Ukraine, US, and Continental Europe.
Aron graduated from Durham University (UK) in 1987 with a degree in Engineering Science and Management.

Robin D. Griffin
Director of Marketing, StrikeIron, Inc.

Robin Griffin offers more than 15 years of leadership experience in product development, building and guiding the successful design of next generation products, platforms and partner solutions. She is an innovative technology evangelist who has received industry-wide recognition for launching winning IT solutions that have become market leaders, with one program capturing 80% market share.
Her technology innovations have generated hundreds-of-millions of dollars in revenue for world-class companies, including Dun & Bradstreet (D&B), Sun Microsystems, and Bell Atlantic/Tele-TV. Robin has a demonstrated ability to identify “what’s next” and increase adoption of emerging technology. This successful track record has allowed her to create highly visible strategic alliances with industry leaders and recruit key partners to fill technology gaps and design scalable go-to-market programs. Robin has extensive cross-functional experience in product development-related roles, including strategy creation, infrastructure design, and business and product integration.
In her most recent position as Vice President of Product Development at D&B, Robin launched commercial web service products and spearheaded sales, marketing, as well as product and service delivery initiatives that contributed over $100 million in direct and channel revenue. Robin created a few “firsts” for D&B, such as its first Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Web Services, as well as its first Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) that delivered $11 million in incremental revenue.
During her tenure at Sun Microsystems, Robin served in several leadership positions culminating in her final role as the Director of Market Development. Some of her accomplishments include establishing Sun as the UNIX provider of choice, launching the industry’s first reliable messaging and wireless platform, and negotiating multi-partner agreements with Oracle, SAP, Informix and Sybase. As a Strategic Alliance Manager at Bell-Atlantic, she created and negotiated strategic partnerships for a successful joint venture between Bell Atlantic, Nynex and Pacific Bell and managed Bell-Atlantic’s $600 million asset contribution towards the venture.
Robin earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of Central Florida and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Rollins College.

Brad Winney
General Partner, Threshold Partners

Brad Winney is an accomplished technology executive with over 21 years of experience in building and managing successful software and professional services companies.
Mr. Winney was most recently the President & CEO of ClariFI, Inc., a leading provider of portfolio analytics solutions based in Boca Raton, Florida.
During his four-year tenure at ClariFI, Mr. Winney led the repositioning of the company and the development of market leading ModelStation platform. He grew the annual revenues from inception to a $4m run rate in 2006 and was personally involved in the acquisition of the company’s first thirty accounts - including 4 of the 10 world’s largest asset managers (State Street Global Advisors, Fidelity Investments, Mellon, Putnam Securities). In the process, Winney raised over $7.5M in seed and venture capital, recruited a senior management team and opened offices in New York City, Boston and London. Mr. Winney remains a significant shareholder and an ad hoc advisor to the company.
Prior to ClariFI, Mr. Winney served in various senior management /business development roles at leading Internet and Enterprise Software companies including Electrifier, Inc. (CEO), Personify Inc. (SVP, Business Development), iXL, Inc. (SVP, Sales), Modem Media.Poppe Tyson (President), USConnect (SVP, COO) & Novell Inc. (Senior. Dir. Alliances). Winney was instrumental in forging new market opportunities and directly managing strategic business development processes that resulted in major advancements for each of the respective businesses.
Mr. Winney is active in numerous industry organizations including the New York Venture Group Association, the Software Development Forum, and the Southern Florida Technology Association. Mr. Winney also co-founded Threshold Partners, a global network of business development professionals.
Mr. Winney received his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Georgia.

Jeff Brooks
Principal, Brooks Management Group
Areas of Focus: Operational planning, Supply Chain Management, Process Improvement
Jeff Brooks has 25 years experience in business and corporate management.
He began his career in GE's Lighting business. His assignments included operational and strategic planning, customer service programs, and managing logistics systems for GEL's worldwide distribution operation. He served as a project manager for the development of two major enterprise-wide distribution systems. He was also the architect and program manager for GEL's first electronic ordering (EDI) system for customers. This resulted in his appointment to GE’s corporate-wide Customer Service Task Force.
Brooks currently provides advisory services and project management support for client projects focusing on logistics, process improvement, customer service strategy, training, metrics, and business technology integration.
His work in customer communications has been recognized with a national advertising award for a technology-marketing brochure, and as a lead content contributor on the first team to win a Clio advertising award for corporate Web design.
Jeff has also contributed to business education as an author and editor, and as a speaker at over 30 professional conferences. His articles have appeared in publications ranging from CIO Magazine to Traffic World. He has been a guest lecturer at Penn State-Great Valley, in the Logistics MBA program at Ohio State, and an advisor/guest lecturer for the first EDI course in Drexel University's MBA program.
In addition to his core business, Jeff is currently involved with the development of the BEACON initiative, a program that includes promoting minority business opportunities, and an experimental program for character development, life skills and financial education for inner city athletes.
Brooks received a B.A. in Economics from Villanova University and a M.B.A. in Business Logistics from The Ohio State University.
